About Pata Karao
One place for Sialkot's surgical instrument industry to find each other
Most work in the industry is passed from exporters to makers and suppliers through personal contacts. Pata Karao puts those businesses in one searchable place, so finding the right workshop takes minutes instead of days of phone calls.
Who it's for
Companies and exporters
Find makers and suppliers by product, production stage and process. Post what you need and let workshops come to you.
Makers and workshops
Show what you make and the stages you deliver at, with photos of your work, so exporters can find you and send work your way.
Suppliers
Raw materials, heat treatment, electropolishing, laser marking, packaging and more. Be found by the businesses that need what you supply.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Pata Karao free?
- Yes. Listing your business, posting requests and offers, and contacting other businesses are all free.
- How do I contact a business?
- Open their profile and call or WhatsApp them directly, or reply to one of their listings. Pata Karao doesn't sit in the middle of your deal.
- What does the verified badge mean?
- The Pata Karao team has checked that the business is real and that the account belongs to it.
- My business is already listed, but I didn't add it. What do I do?
- Members can add businesses that aren't on the site yet. Open the profile, choose "Claim this business" and attach a document showing your name and the business name. The profile is yours once the team approves it.
- My company is already on Pata Karao and I work there. What do I do?
- Each business is listed once, so if someone you work with already listed it, there's no need to list it again. You can still post listings and apply for jobs from your own account. If it was listed by someone who doesn't work there, tell us and the team will check.
- I own two businesses. Can I list both?
- Yes, from two accounts. Each account holds one business, so sign up for the second one with a different WhatsApp number or email. That way each business is verified on its own.
- What's the difference between a request and an offer?
- A request says what you're looking for, such as "electropolishing for 2,000 pcs". An offer says what you can make or do. Both can be answered with a reply.
- I saw something wrong or suspicious.
- Use the report button on the listing. The team reviews every report and can remove listings or suspend accounts.
